It’s a known thing in the gaming circles that The Fallout franchise has been running into controversies of late.

Even the ever-faithful series faithful have expressed their frustration with the direction Bethesda has chosen to take the franchise after the disastrous launch of Fallout 76.

Although, you probably will ignore what the hardcore fans advise but it is worth looking at older Fallout titles to try out; most of which are independent of the trappings of the present-day “live services” like 76.

If you haven’t tried the older releases yet, you may be able to do just that via a single purchase.

As observed by PC Gamer, a listing on Amazon Germany shows the “Fallout Legacy Collection.” The Legacy Collection, displayed by the store page, includes the following games (and is expected to arrive on October 25):

Fallout

Fallout 2

Fallout Tactics

Fallout 3 GOTY

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition

Fallout 4 GOTY

The expected pricing of the bundle would be in and around 40 German euros, or approximately $45.

Just to make a point of comparison, purchasing each and every main Fallout title individually on Steam would mean you churning out $100 as of writing, and that’s just for the normal editions which don’t come with any DLC or updates.

The edition of the Legacy Collection put up on Amazon looks like it will be meant for Windows, but if it’s an official listing, console versions are probably going to be available soon as well.

Bethesda hasn’t confirmed anything officially about the package, and while Amazon is often trusted to be fairly reliable, there’s still a good chance that it’s not real. But if it is actually genuine, it’s an insanely good offer: the German price is 40 euros, which will be around $44 / £36 / AU$65.

If you look at Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition, the single edition alone is currently $60 / £40 / AU$90 on Steam. As mentioned earlier, such a scenario will be almost utopian to get all the games in one buy
