If anyone had a roller coaster of a decade, it’s Amanda Baines. After coming back in 2010, she announced an indefinite hiatus from acting and since then things have gotten a bit tough.
I don’t have to rewrite all the details because honestly, I’m not all day, but we all remember the sad tweets and even sadder blonde wigs. Truly a moment I will never forget.
But this is all in the past, and Amanda Baines is a new batch of dramas we need to talk about. She is no longer tweeting about Drake killing her vagina, but all the sunshine and rainbows.
First, a quick recap of Amanda Bynes 2019. In January this year, Amanda investigated a rehab program following an alleged mental breakdown. At the end of 2018, she had announced her career return in a paper magazine interview, but a People source said that she once again started receiving media attention.
She remained in an uncomfortable mental health facility through the spring, and when she graduated from FIDM with her Associate Degree in June, she received a day pass to leave treatment.
Soon after earning an associate’s degree, she started classes at FIDM to work towards her bachelor’s degree, and things were looking out for her.
Details about her whereabouts were scarce until last week during the summer and fall when things suddenly became dramatic.
While this would not usually be the case with Amanda Bains going back to her parents, things are a bit more complicated. She reportedly wants to go out and find her place, but she cannot do so, and unlike me, it is not because she cannot pay the broker’s fees.
This is because, since 2013, he is under the protection of his parents. They were first filed for it when it was placed on a psychiatric hold, and have been rebuilt like last year. This means that, as we discussed with Britney Spears, Amanda Baines did not get much of her choice legally regardless of her mental state.
But despite her parents being her mentors, they don’t get to make choices either – instead, they have to meet with a judge. I’m not a lawyer, don’t ask me why. Thus, Amanda and her parents were in court this week for a hearing on whether or not to allow her to live on her own, now that she has left the Sober Living facility.
On top of leaving the sombre living facility, the ET source also said that Amanda recently dropped out of her classes at FIDM. Of course, people leave school for many reasons, but it certainly feels like he is going through a period right now.
There is no word yet on what the judge decided about the terms of his stay, but now, let’s take a look at Amanda’s most recent Instagram post to get a better idea of where she is now.
We’ve got a haircut and more bruises on the eyebrows, but what we need to discuss is the caption, because it’s offensive and confusing. Amanda, to my knowledge, is not Japanese, so she shouldn’t caption her picture geisha girl-anything.
The whole concept of geisha has been widely misunderstood in Western cultures, which is problematic. Secondly, even strangely, there is nothing about this picture that says “Geisha girl vibe.” It is like a run-of-the-mill selfie.
