Why are there multiple changes in under review date?
Some journals have multiple levels of Editors, each Editor makes an initial assessment before passing to the next Editor in the chain. The status remains With Editor until an Editor invites reviewers. So the changes in date indicate the action taken at the Editor/s level.
What is status with editor?

How do I change my status date?

Is the paper still in under review status?
The paper is still in Under Review status. However, although the paper went under review on 6th September, the status date of the paper have changed several times. Please could you tell me why such changes happen, while it is still in Under Review status?
When did my manuscript change to under review?
After making the necessary adjustments, I have resubmitted the revised manuscript back on the 14th of October 2017. On the 21st of October the status changed from “with editor” to “under review”. To date (16th December) the status is “under review”.
