Halsey is out with her sixth single from one of her most-awaited album, Manic. In the excitement of her album launch which is set for the next week, she released another song “You Should Be Sad”. It’s not just the song but along with it came the official video. The music video is inclined towards the country’s feels. Halsey is seen sporting leopard prints, polka dots, cowboy hats and line dancing near the saloons.
She had alerted her fans of the “You Should Be Sad” WILD music video drop on the midnight of the 10th of January 2020 a week back. The tweet along with the announcement contained her excitement in the form of- “Yee fu*kin’ haw.”
She had already released five of her singles from the album, which is there already available for listening and some of them trending on various music platforms like Spotify. Few of the other singles from the album are- Without Me, Graveyard, Finally//Beautiful Stranger, and Suga’s interlude.
Halsey first teased about the album- Manic in an interview with Zane Lowe in September 2019. The interview was soon followed by her first music video drop from the album, Graveyard.
Like all of her songs from the album, You Should Be Sad too is available on all the major music streaming websites like Apple Music via Spotify. The music video can be streamed on any video streaming platform, including YouTube. The video is directed by Colin Tilley.
Halsey’s album Manic is the sequel to her another album released in 2017, the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. Manic officially releases on the 17th of January. Post-release Halsey will be seen as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live and will begin her Manic World Tour from Seattle on the 2nd June 2020.
