At the end of the third season, June will successfully transport more than 50 children of Gilead and safely to Canada. However, while protecting the children from the Gilead Guard, June is shot in the shoulder.
At the end of the episode, June is taken by the other maid, the images mimic the uncomfortable funeral. The last shots of June left many fans wondering if Hundred had succumbed to his injuries.
