A fact is something that’s indisputable, based on empirical research and quantifiable measures. Facts go beyond theories. They’re proven through calculation and experience, or they’re something that definitively occurred in the past. Truth is entirely different; it may include fact, but it can also include belief.
Where do we find truth?
These things (beings; reality) are the foundation of the truth that is found in the human mind, when it acquires knowledge of things, first through the senses, then through the understanding and the judgement done by reason.
What is truth and what are facts?
Truth takes in consideration feelings and beliefs, whereas they have no place in fact. A fact is something that is true everywhere and for everyone. However, something that is true for one person may not be true for everyone. Facts and truth are two words that we come across very commonly. These terms are used in our daily lives.
Is truth and fact the same thing?
In this instance both “fact” and “truth” are idiomatic and mean more or less the same thing. Generally speaking, “truth” tends to have more to do with human affairs, values and perceptions, while “fact” tends to have more to do with objective reality. This is not an exact and clear-cut division though.
Are all truths truth?
Anything that you can imagine to be true is your truth within your creation because there is nothing outside of that creation that exists. Essentially this means that everybody’s perspective is their own truth. The fundamental truth is that all truths are true. Again, this is a perspective, but many would argue it is the highest truth.
