More than two years after Kevin Hart’s pregnant wife, fans will get a look at the pair’s downfall in the comedian’s new Netflix documentary, Don’t F ** k Up, which dropped its first trailer on Monday.
“You publicly humiliated me. I just kept saying ‘how the f ** k did this happen?”
Another shot of Hart states, “Before people say, and Kevin Hart says there are a d ** head and a ** hole, I want you to understand a lot.”
The six-part series will also tell fans about the actor’s day-to-day life, as he deals with the Oscar controversy, his marriage and the downfall of his cumbersome career. The series includes the interview with Hart’s friends and family, rare archival footage from his childhood and early scenes from the early days and personal anecdotes from the comic.
Rumours that Hart was cheating began making headlines for the first time in July 2017, when Hart was spotted and was in Miami, Florida with a mystery woman, while Parish was eight months old with his now 2-year-old son.
Kenzo was pregnant two months later, following an extortion case, Hart publicly called the Parish, as well as his other two children, 12-year-old son Hendrix and 14-year-old daughter Haven. He apologised, which he shared with his ex-wife Torrei.
“Sending a lot of apologies to my wife and kids,” he posted an emotional Instagram video. “I will and will do better. I am not perfect, and I never claimed … I love you all.”
And in December 2017, during an interview with Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Show, he discussed cheating Parrish.
“I am guilty,” he confessed. “Despite how it happened and what it involves actually, I can’t talk about it; I’m guilty. I’m wrong.”
“It’s beyond irresponsible,” he continued. “There’s no way around it. The best way to do this is to fix it. It’s okay. It’s Kevin Hart in his sweetest moment. It’s not the best time of my life. That being said. You make your bed, you lie. Down. You can’t say, ‘What were you thinking?’ Because you were not thinking.”
ET spoke with Hart in May about why he decided to open up about cheating his wife in his Netflix special, Kevin Hart: Irresponsible.
